🍁Administrative Probation emails go out to students, parents, and teachers today.

✏️7:15 am: Math Club will meet Wednesday, 9/23, in Mrs. Taylor's room (519) for anyone who likes math and wants to compete
📣10:00 - 11:00 am - Skeeter Kell Sporting Goods will be here at the High School to take orders for Letterman jackets.  There is a $100 deposit that is due when a student places an order.
📣10:24 am - College and Trade School Incentive Presentation with the Guard in the Cafeteria

Thursday, September 24

🍁 FIRST DAY OF ADMINISTRATIVE PROBATION
ADMINISTRATIVE PROBATION 
Students who do not meet academic, attendance, or behavior expectations may be placed on Administrative Probation. Reasons for being placed on administrative probation include the following: 
● Two or more failing grades during a review date. 
● Attendance is below 90%. 
●Discipline incidents resulting in OSS (A student suspended for OSS will result in immediate addition to the Administrative Probation list for a period of 20 school days. This date will be added to the discipline referral.). 
Terms of Administrative Probation 
● The student will not be allowed to attend or participate in selected school-related activities unless prior permission has been granted or assigned by an administrator. 
● Student athletes will be allowed to practice, but not participate in extracurricular competitions or games until they are off probation. 
● Restricted events may include, but are not limited to: 
○ School Sponsored Dances 
○ All Privilege Activities 
○ Pep Assemblies 
○ Select Sporting Events 
○ Field Trips 
○ Participation in Club Activities 
Administrative probation will be reviewed at midterm and quarter of each semester. 
● Students will be contacted by their administrator or designee on restrictions and expectations. 
● Parent contact will be made in order to generate a plan for student success. 
● All students will start both semesters in good standing, with the exception of discipline. 
Length of Administrative Probation 
● Students who have been identified as not making adequate progress at the end of each review period may be placed on administrative probation until the next review date. 
● If a student is placed on probation, and their attendance and/or grades improve to meet standards between review dates, they can file an appeal with their assigned administrator or designee. 
Administrative Probation Appeal Process 
● An appeal form will be available on the PBHS Student Website for students to complete. ● The administrator or designee will review the appeal. 
● If qualifications are met, the probation may be lifted until the next review period.

BETA Club is Collecting Bottle Caps

Please collect and turn in your Lime Green Bottle Caps for BETA! Beta clubs can earn up to $30,000 depending on how many bottle caps they collect. Look for the collection boxes around school to drop your lime green bottle caps in.
